Parkin AR Visit.
I went to Parkin, AR Tuesday and got gas. It was $2.09/gal. I'm didn't intend to goto Parkin. I just got on Park, went West and continued until I crossed the Mississippi and ended up in Parkin. I drove around a bit looking at the Silos and the farmland. Parkin has plenty of that.
I was the only car on the road going to the city of Parkin. It was rather peaceful. Only a house every 1/4 mile or so. It seemed like all of them has a silo in the backyard. I went to the gas station and filled up. Then worked my way back to Memphis. When I got to the point of getting back on I-55, I stopped at another gas station to get some drinks. While I was in there, a mouse was scurrying along the floor and underneath a cabinet. It was so cute. I told the cashier that I wanted to catch and release him/her... sadly, he was under a cabinet and I had no chance of catching him. I hope he lives and makes his way out the door before he makes the mistake of eating some rat posion.
once I got on the interstate, I could just feel the relaxation that I gained from driving around Parkin just slipping off of me.
Amazing what some farmland will do for you.
